Unsigned. Watercolour. 18 x 15 cm.

Not examined out of frame.

Provenance

The artwork is said to have been part of the collection of court chamberlain George William Fleetwood (1808-1902), who served at the court of King Charles XV. After G.W. Fleetwood's death in 1902, his art collection was sold at auction in 1903. It was then sold again in 1959 in Stockholm to Gustav Ferlenius (1867-1969), the tenant of Bäckaskog Castle, which had previously been the summer residence of Charles XV and Queen Lovisa in Kristianstad. In 1971, an auction was held at Bäckaskog Castle, and the painting was sold once more.
