NUG är en av Sveriges mest tekniskt skickliga graffittimålare. Hans tidiga verk framhåller hantverket som en viktig aspekt, medans hans senare verk karaktäriseras av det snabba och brutala, fria linjer och oordning. Det är som om han för en närmast hänsynslös kamp mot det tillrättalagda i offentligheten. NUG tycks inte se konstnären som en del av en individuell varelse, nödvändig för förståelse, utan ser i istället konstnären som en del av ett allmänt begrepp. Hans konst skapar diskussioner kring hur ett konstverk blir till och var upphovsmannaskapet börjar och slutar. Hans konst manifesterar sig i gränslandet mellan att vara känd och okänd som konstnär.
