Eva Klasson fick sitt stora internationella genombrott i Paris 1976 med fotoprojektet ”Le Troisème Angle", som året därpå presenterades på Centre Georges Pompidou. I en serie närbilder av den egna kroppen skildrade hon hud, ögon, tänder, bröst, fingrar och hår på ett nytt sätt som väckte stor uppmärksamhet. Bilderna framstod som abstraktioner och gav betraktaren möjlighet att vidga sina associationer och upplevelser av människokroppen.
1980 hade Borås Konstmuseum en utställning med hennes verk.
Fotografier av Eva Klasson fanns även med på den stora fotoutställningen på Moderna Museet, Stockholm i år, "Tillbaka till verkligheten".
