Atelier Populaire: Actively strived to inspire activism amongst the youth.
May 16: A group of students and faculty at the École des Beaux Arts overtook the establishment. Anonymously: They started producing posters and literature “weapons in the service of the struggle,” aimed at combating the era’s oppressive and conservative government. This original poster, screenprint in black ink on yellow paper, from an unnumbered edition, harken back to the revolutionary happenings of May 1968 in Paris. / Fredrik Anthony
