Contemporary full red morocco richly gilt, edges gilt, gilt arms to front cover said to be of Mademoiselle de Blois, daughter of Louis XIV, and apparently reproduced as plate 2567 in Olivier-Hermal-Roton, Manuel de l'amateur de reliures armoriees françaises. Binding a little worn, short cracks to joints, covers lightly warped, bookplate of ”V. Manscourt, Trésorier Payeur Géneral” and ownership inscription of Adolpe Caboche. Light soiling internally, and recent marginal repairs.
