I have always wished for a salver, a tray on feet, this one is marked in London during the18th centrum and has the so typical English clow-on-ball feet. It has to be one of the most practical silver objects as it can be used for so many things, serving aperitifs and small sweets - any cake would look beautiful on a tray like this. As it has a big flat surface it is very a attractive to place in the center of a dining table and have small candles and/or flowers on it who can be reflected from the shiny surface. Above this it is easy to cleaning and polish because of its simple form.

As I am a tea lover one of my favorites are definitely the beautiful cylindrical tea-pot with its attractive flower on the lid. The model is gustavian and is often seen with a straight wooden handle, but these are all for coffee, this one has a “sil” on the inside which is a give away for it being meant for Tea. All normal everyday mornings must feel so much better IF one would have one of those on the kitchen bench.

The form and design of the Georg Jensen items are outstanding, I love his beautiful plein bowls on a high foot. Both the small oval bowl no … and the larger round one no … Are favorites of mine. As I am a sucker for sweets I´m´ thinking I would have small sweets in the small bowl and fruit in the larger one - fruit is also sweets isn’t it...
