Bukowskis is pleased to present a selection from a unique private collection of modern and avant-garde art, assembled over nearly three decades by a dedicated and passionate collector. From a young age, he was actively involved in the art scene — visiting exhibitions, galleries, and studios — and early on developed an unusually discerning eye for fine art.

Over the years, he built a collection featuring both established and lesser-known artists. His personal engagement was profound, and he often formed close friendships with the artists, adding an additional layer of depth to the works themselves.

The auction’s collection includes thirteen works by artists Endre Nemes, Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen, Lennart Rodhe, Lars-Gunnar Nordström, CO Hultén, and Rune Jansson. Together, they represent a broad spectrum of Swedish modernism and avant-gardism.
