Scent box, silver, probably Denmark, dated 1803.
Parcel-gilt. Heart-shaped with a hinged lid topped by a heart under a crown. The body with engraved decoration of floral scrolls as well as initials and 'Anno 1803'. Indented foot with a hidden compartment flanked by two standing lions. Height 11 cm. Weight 62 grams.
Age-related wear. Dents. Cracks. The foot's lid cannot be closed. Marked on the foot's lid. Unidentified marks.
