Bukowskis is pleased to present this year's largest International Fine Art auction - the Important Winter Sale. View an extensive catalogue, including historical objects and significant collections of Classical Art, Works of Art, Asian Works of Art and Jewellery.

Highlights in classical Swedish painting include Anders Zorn's painting, "Sunday Morning", a masterpiece with an impressive estimate of 12-15 MSEK. Additional art works that have aroused interest include Eugéne Jansson's "Timmermansgatan", a painting from the artist's significant series of blue paintings from 1897 and several works by Carl Fredrik Hill, Carl Larsson and Helene Schjerfbeck. These are accompanied by an extensive selection of Old Masters of the highest quality, alongside sculpture by international icons such as Renoir and Rodin.

This season, Bukowskis’ department for Furniture and Works of Art offers a spectacular collection of Egyptian objects from the Grand Tours which explored the continent's past and present cultural, military, political and social conditions. Bukowskis is proud to present this collection, which includes art-historically important objects from around 1900 BC to the late 19th century, all with their own provenance. The magnificent parade cup, "The Demidoff cup", Gabriel-Raoul Morel, Paris 1824, is another of the department's most interesting lots; impressive both in size and execution (estimate 4-6 MSEK). In addition to this, Bukowskis will also be showing an excellent collection of Antiques and Silver from International and Swedish Masters.

The department of Asian Works of Art include sought-after items from several private collections, Buddha statues, pots and urns that together represent extraordinary craftsmanship. The Carpet department will also offer magnificent carpets in different designs and materials; each one unique.

The Jewellery department will show a significant selection of internationally sought-after jewellery, alongside a beautiful collection from luxury brand Bulgari including eleven lots with a total estimate of 3 MSEK. The catalogue also showcases the most exclusive diamond brooches, rings and bracelets of exquisite quality and some with royal provenance.
