a carpet, 'Storkorset' ('Åhléns matta'), knotted pile, c. 380 x 310 cm, signed MMF.
Designed and delivered on 17 December 1934. Woven by the weavers Astrid Samuelsson and Anna Gustafsson. The present carpet is one of only two woven examples of 'Storkorset,' of which this is the first. Bukowskis thanks AB MMF's Senior Executive Angelica Persson for assistance with this information.
