Measurements of the pendant ca 45 X 70 with the drop, length ca 42 cm, weight 121 g.

Provenance

Halvar Sundberg (1894-1973). Sundberg was a professor of constitutional law at Uppsala University and also active as a politician and finance mayor in the city of Stockholm. The necklace was a gift in 1923 when Halvar Sundberg married Margit Sundberg. The couple travelled to Constantinople on their honeymoon, and the necklace was a gift from a close friend who was stationed there as a diplomat.
