Comprising; a gourd shaped pendant flanked by two bats, well carved in a pale celadon green. Height 6.4 cm. A pendant with a bird perched on a branch wiht fruit, the opposite side with a seal mark all in a pale celadon green. Height 5.8 cm. A coin shaped placque in celadon green. Diameter 6 cm. A roundel with an intricate pierced sculpturing of a bird amidst flowers in a pale olive green colour. Diameter 5.5 cm.

From the collection of Sylvia Hurtig (born Armstrong Morris) (1926-1996), thence by descent. The collection was brought together mainly in the 1960’s. Sylvia, born in England, Newscastle-on-Tyne, but living in Stockholm had a particular passion for jade and during her frequent visits to London she acquired the pieces from Christie’s, Sotheby’s as well as from Bukowskis and through the Swedish/Armenian antique dealer Solberger, Tegnérgatan, Stockholm.
