Artek – 90 Years

Artek was founded in 1935 to promote the visibility and commercialization of modern design. The company was established by Maire Gullichsen, Alvar and Aino Aalto, and Nils-Gustav Hahl. Initially, Artek focused on selling and showcasing furniture designed by Alvar Aalto, but the product range soon expanded to include items from other manufacturers as well. Today, Artek’s collection includes furniture, lighting, and interior accessories created by leading Finnish designers as well as internationally renowned creatives. Bukowskis presents a collection of small items in connection with Artek's 90th anniversary, from the company's founding to today.
