Gustaf Westman + Swedish Stockings

Bukowskis is pleased to present the themed auction Gustaf Westman + Swedish Stockings, featuring 8 handmade tables. The hosiery company Swedish Stockings was founded with the ambition to change today's unsustainable pantyhose manufacturing. Since 2013, they have been manufacturing tights and stockings from recycled nylon.

Through their recycling program, Swedish Stockings has expanded their production to also include tables, designed by the renowned designer Gustaf Westman. Each table contains recycled fiberglass and between 80 and 350 pairs of tights, depending on size. Each table is handmade and the pattern imitates marble, which is created by a mixture of the recycled materials. The result is a durable table that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The present auction features eye-catching dining tables and side tables, most of which were exhibited at Café Klotet in Stockholm during Stockholm Fashion Week in June 2025.
