An early 19th century brooch/pendant set with a miniature surrounded by old-cut diamonds and fresh-water pearls.

A handpainted miniature, probably to copper, depicting two cherubs. Total diamond weight ca 0.41 ct. With opening compartment to verso. Gilded silver and 8K gold, unhallmarked. Height ca 4.8 cm. Total weight ca 14.1 g.

Wear. The pearls are of uneven shapes. Some loss of paintwork. Lead repairwork is noticeable to verso. Probably converted.
