Inkeri Leivo's Ceramic Art

Inkeri Leivo-Lindh (1944–2010) was a Finnish ceramic artist. She studied at the Institute of Industrial Arts in the late 1960s and began her career at the Arabia ceramics factory in 1969. Soon after, she joined the factory’s product design department and later became one of the founding members when the department transitioned into an independent association.

Nature served as a key source of inspiration for her unique pieces, and she remained an active member of the Arabia Art Department Society until the end of her life. Her work is featured in several notable collections, including the Design Museum in Helsinki, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the art collections of the City of Helsinki. In 1992, she received national recognition with the Finnish State Award for Design.

The items currently available for sale come from her personal collection.
