Hand-carved with decoration of animals and foliage, seat height approx. 42 cm, approx. 60x68x127 cm
Carved from a single piece of wood, this is a large carved throne chair from Togo. Similar chairs can also be found among the Fon people in Benin, where the four lions on the chair represent a former king (Ahosu) of the Fon people.

Wear due to age and use. Marks. Scratches. Cracks due to dryness of the material.
