We present a weapons auction consisting mainly of two collections from Gothenburg. It includes primarily military weapons with flintlocks, percussion locks, and breechloaders from the 19th century, but also some civilian firearms. A fine and somewhat unusual Swedish smallsword from the Empire period with an eagle-head hilt is also included, as well as a large two-handed sword – a true conversation piece in any company.
