His artistically qualities as a draftsman came to were channeled through decors which were often carved directly into the ceramics and then glazed. Kåge’s unique art crockery was named after Farstalandet where Gustavsberg’s factories were located and has strongly contributed to higher the status among ceramic art stoneware. With rustic glazes and relief decor, the Farsta earthenware is a milestone within Swedish ceramic history!
