Roland Svensson – Archipelago painter

Roland Svensson, one of Sweden’s most appreciated portrayals of the Stockholm archipelago, depicted the environment with its nature, wildlife and people. His work is characterized by a strong sense of reality with a special interest in the life and surroundings of the fishermen. During more than 60 years active as an artist, Svensson was a unique depicter of the outer sea band in the Stockholm archipelago in both painting and printmaking and also as an author.

This theme auction includes 30 lithographs with different motifs from Roland Svensson's beloved archipelago.

Welcome to the viewing at Berzelii Park 1 in Stockholm. We are open 11 – 15 May, hours: 11 am – 5 pm.
