The Rolex Prince, also known as the "Doctor’s Watch," first came out in 1928. This model has a small seconds dial below the main time display, making it handy for doctors to measure pulses and respiration.

Prince watches usually come in two case styles. The one with soft curves and flared sides, like the watch mentioned here, is called the "Brancard." The other style is sharp, angled, and rectangular, known as the "Classic
