Painted and bronzed case with chinoiserie decoration. Glazed hood with straight cornice, carved foliate scrolls, and half-columns. Brass dial with Roman numerals, moon phase, and date. Marked James Gray Edinburgh. Height 208, width 52, depth 26 cm. Pendulum, winding key, and weights are included. Key included.

Wear due to age and use. Renovated. Additions. Partly later painting. Cracks due to dryness of the material. Not function tested. Not thoroughly examined.
