Partially gilded, and internally gilded. Chased and répoussé decoration featuring cherubs making music in a natural setting. Thumb grip in the form of a face, the lid topped with a large flower, the sides of the lid adorned with flowers and figures.
Height 19.5 cm, total diameter of the base 19 cm. Weight 1133 g.

Wear commensurate with age. Tarnish. Scratches to the bottom, numbers marked by pen and stamp.
