Nils Möllerberg – The Sculptor Part II

Nils Möllerberg was one of Sweden's most prominent sculptors of the 20th century. He was a master at recreating the human body in sculpture, always in a classical style. His impressive works can be seen in several public spaces throughout the country. Born in 1892 in Österlöv, Skåne, Möllerberg studied in both Copenhagen and Paris before returning to Sweden. His works are represented in several museums, including the National Museum.

In this themed auction, we are given a unique opportunity to step into Möllerberg’s studio, where both models, sketches, and finished sculptures provide insight into the breadth and diversity of his artistic career. All the works come directly from the family.

Consignments are ongoing for our upcoming live auction Modern Art & Design, 20–21 May.
