Mika Tajima lives and works in California, USA. At Bukowskis she is showing a few exquisitely ethereal paintings made with spray paint on the reverse side of acrylic glass. These works are a reminder of the fact that abstract painting was once a highly controversial style; over the years, and in pace with other changes, abstract art has become part of our everyday lives, in the form of modules and as a result of crass economics and mass production, rather than for its aesthetic simplicity.
