Works in a simple test, but function is not guaranteed.
Wear due to age and use. Not thoroughly examined. Case missing.

Possibly not English made. Could be one of those clocks sometimes described as 'Dutch fakes', or maybe a better description for them is 'Dutch market fakes'. Swiss made, 18th century latter part., in imitation of English work, and were intended to deceive.
