The skids probably of stained beech, later cushions upholstered in spotted linen fabric. Height ca 71 cm, seat height ca 34-40 cm, depth ca 85 cm, width 65 cm.

The back with a repaired crack to upper crossbar and a small restored piece to side, normal wear.

Provenance

Reportedly bought at the same period as other pine furniture "sportstugemöbler" for a summer house in north of Sweden. The rocking chair is one of a set of furniture ordered from Nordiska Kompaniet, among these are a set of "Utö" chairs by Axel Einar Hjorth, see lot 1175657.
