A RUG, an antique Bidjar, ca 220-228 x 138-141 cm.
A terracotta red ground with a polychrome herati pattern. A dark blue main border with palmette, flower, arabesque, leaf and pomegranate vines.
Some partly harder wear, slightly dirty, minor stains, repairs. One end is slightly reduced, one end has a few rows of knots missing.
