A carpet, a semi-antique Tabriz figural, ca 354,5-362 x 250,5-258 cm.
An ivory ground with a polychrome decor of large palmettes, medallions, animals, mythological animals and antiquities. A wide green main border with arabesque festoons, stylized flowers, mythological animals as well as cartouches with inscriptions. The inner secondary border with a signature in a star: Sherkate Mahmoud Jabarzadeh Ghalibafian (Mahmoud Jabarzadeh Ghalibafian Company).
Some wear, dirty, stains among which some are stiff and some are brittle ("cherook"), minor mothdamages and repairs. The sides have fold wear, later fringes.
