Chairs veneered with walnut, mahogany and Norway maple, clear lacquer finish. Upholstered with fabric designed by Eliel Saarinen, manufacturer Backhausen. Height to seat ca. 48 cm. Width 62 cm, depth 54 cm, height 78 cm. Marked on plaque 'Cranbrook 1929-30 Saarinen House Arm Chair ... Made in Finland by Adelta Oy' and numbered 34, 35, 37 and 38.

Marks to the legs. Wear due to age and use. Table with a curved mark in the lacquer surface. Armrest upholstery stained, a stain in the fabric of one of the backrests.
