A two-part writing cabinet, presumably English, around 1800.

Veneered with mahogany. Upper section with three cabinets and in the middle a drop-down leaf with compartments and drawers behind. Decorated with columns. Lower section with three drawers and a roll-top with drawers and compartments behind, decorated inlay. The tabletop is extendable and the middle part tips up to create an adjustable writing surface, clad in fabric. Width 120, depth 61.5, height 230 cm.
