Weimar Söderström föddes i Solna och var verksam som skulptör och tecknare. Han studerade vid Berghs reklamskola och vid en privat konstskola under 1940-talet, samt genomgick 1948-53 Konstfackskolan. Som tecknare utförde han både landskap, figurmotiv och porträtt och som skulptör arbetade han i gips och trä. På utställningarna "Unga tecknare" på Nationalmuseum uppmärksammades han för sina porträtt. Söderström ställde även ut på bland annat Liljevalchs konsthall. Han fanns representerad i Gustaf VI Adolfs samlingar, där delar testamenterades till Nationalmuseum 1973.
