Anders Pehrson - The Creator of the Bumling

Anders Pehrson (1912-1982) was a prominent Swedish designer who served as the design chief at Philips AB and later became the owner of Ateljé Lyktan. In Pehrson's work, the emphasis was on highlighting form, function, color, and family. He is most renowned for creating the "Bumlingen" lamp, an icon in Scandinavian design, equally popular now as it was then. The lamp was produced in numerous variations and color schemes.
