Restaurant Centralstationen, Stockholm, Sweden.
Johan Stone belongs to a form-seeking generation of designers who graduated from Konstfack during the early 1990s. The city moose was designed for the restaurant at Central Station in Stockholm. During the renovation, a few chairs were saved, of which six are the majority. The city moose was also shown at an exhibition "Inside Outside The Tradition" in 1990.
The chair's artisanal production and its organic, Art Nouveau-inspired shape stand out in the otherwise austere minimalism of the 1990s.
