London 1723 (vols. 1-2) & Haag 1732. With a total of 1450 pages, 1 engraved frontispiece, 16 engraved maps, 39 engraved plates and 1 engraved portrait. Many of the engravings folding or double-page.
NB: The supplement volume in the Haag edition, published in the same year as the rare first edition which was published in London.
Three volumes, uniformly bound and numbered 1-3. Roughly contemporary full calf, worn and restored, spines renewed, some browning and foxing, faint cellar scent. Part two marginally waterstained towards end including plates (partly affecting image surface) and very slightly wormed, three leaves in vol. 3 with some rather small ink stains, two in lower margin and one in text, one leaf with very slight marginal loss.
