CARL MALMSTEN

Carl Malmsten on yksi Ruotsin tunnetuimmista huonekalusuunnittelijoista. Malmsten oli uransa alussa harjoittelijana eri puusepänverstaissa ja tutki huonekaluja ja haki vaikutteita museoissa Nordiska museet ja Skansen.
Erityisesti mm. Carl Larssonin vaikutuksen huomaa hänen kehityksessään suunnittelijana. Esimerkiksi nojatuoli ”Farmor”, sohva ”Samsas” sekä ”Herrgården”-kaappi ovat kaikki unohtumattomia Carl Malmsten klassikoita.
