Maria Nordin tog examen vid Kungliga konsthögskolan 2010. Året efter tilldelades hon Beckers konstnärsstipendium och utmärkelserna och lovorden har sedan dess avlöst varandra. Maria Nordins fascinerande och skickligt utförda akvarellmålningar har bland annat visats på Nordiska Akvarellmuseet, Skärhamn, på Galleri Magnus Karlsson i Stockholm och på Moderna Museet i Malmö.
