Helmet-shaped with internal gilding and a profiled handle. Engraved decoration of the von Tauentzien family coat of arms. Height 22.5 cm. Weight 336 grams.

Minor wear, small dents and cracks.

General Friedrich Bogislav von Tauentzien was the first to be awarded the Pour le Mérite order by King Frederick II (Frederick the Great). This occurred after the Battle of Mollwitz in 1741. The honour is reflected in the engraved coat of arms.
