Large-grained pine. The cabinet's decoration was sculpted by Hannes Autere and signed H.A. 1936. Fold-down flap and behind it a writing compartment. Key included. Width 120 cm, depth 45 cm, height 139 cm.

Wear due to age and use. Minor veneer damages. Marks on the tabletop. The lower shelf of the cabinet is missing. Keys included.

Provenance

The cabinet belonged to the clubhouse of Enso-Gutzeit. The clubhouse was designed by Väinö Vähäkallio and completed in 1936.

Literature

The cabinet is depicted in the yearbook for the Applied Art Association Ornamo, 1936, no. 8, p. 51.
