A Gustavian mirror by Niclas Falkengren, Jönköping (active 1776-1813).
Gilded and bronzed. Profiled, partially pierced crest with carved decoration of laurel wreath and ribbon bow as well as sunflower. Framework with decoration of bead moulding and laurel garland at the bottom. Mercury-gilded mirror glass. Signed NFG and with lacquer seal. Height 115, width 45 cm.
Wear due to age and use. Cracks. Old glass. Restored with later gilding.
