Two similar Japanise porcelain vases, Showa period (1926-89).

Rhomboid bodies with slender square necks and flared rims. Decorated in iron red, blue, green, turquoise, black enamels and gilt, with roundels of butterflies, phoenix and flowers, panels of purses and birds amidst wisteria. Height 28 cm.

Chips. Wear. One with a star crack to the body.
