Carl Emil Baagøe (1829-1902) was a Danish marine painter. He briefly attended the Royal Danish Academy of Arts, after which he continued his self-taught education. His marine paintings featuring motifs from the Scandinavian region were particularly popular in England. From 1859, he also created illustrations for the Danish magazine Illustreret Tidende.
