A small Lübeck silver tea-caddy, marks of Samuel Hoff the Elder, circa 1740
Rectangular form with recessed corners, sliding lid, portrait medallions of a lady and a gentleman. Masters mark with an anchor between 'SH'. Height 9.5 cm, weight 111 grams.
Minor wear and insignificant dents. Scratch marks to the base.
