The Anders Jonason collection. He was a good friend of Strömholm and together they created the book "Konsten att vara där" (Norstedts, 1992).

År 1962 reste poeten Lasse Söderberg och fotografen Christer Strömholm från Paris, där de båda höll till, söderut för att göra ett resereportage från Francos Spanien, tjugofem år efter inbördeskriget. Boken blev inte färdig då, och när den kom ut 2013 hade den, utöver en detaljskarp och rikt illustrerad kartläggning av fattiga provinser, människor och byar, också blivit ett personligt vänporträtt av Christer Strömholm.
