Engraved "It never dies", diameter of the seal approximately 13.5 mm, height approximately 22 mm, weight 4.7 g, chain silver, length approximately 80 cm, total weight 37 g. A catalogue with a price list from Bruun Rasmussen is included.

Purchased from Bruun Rasmussen in 1976, with their catalogue included; according to their catalogue text, the seal is reported to have belonged to Lord Byron. This provenance cannot be verified. "It never dies" has sometimes been considered Lord Byron's motto.
