An early 20th Century Art Nouveau desk, Germany, stamp J Groschkus, Berlin
Veneered with rosewood, as well as with inlays of mother-of-pearl and brass strips. Curved side, curved legs joined to the top, two drawers, with a cabinet on the side. Curved legs with brass sabots. Stamped under the drawer Hof-Tischlermeister J Groschkus, Berlin Landsberger-Strasse. 103 x 63, height 77 cm.
A brass strip is missing from the cabinet door, included separately. Stains, wear, marks, veneer damage. Keys included.
