On 15 October 2021, Kristina Lindström's and Kristian Petri's documentary "The World's Most Beautiful Boy" premiered in Swedish cinemas. Ahead of the premiere, the artist Karin Broos created a unique film poster based on the painting in this auction.
"When I saw the film, I was incredibly deeply affected and moved. How such a sensitive, talented, and far too young boy is so exploited. How alone he is, completely without a safety net, and how he must feel like a hunted prey. It is his vulnerability and loneliness that I try to capture in the image," says Karin Broos.
