More about Atelier Fauni

Atelier Fauni was founded by the Kuuskoski family in 1952. The company produced handmade figures, including both Fauni’s own troll figures and Moomin figures. The materials used included leather, faux fur, felt, and other materials. Because the production was craft-based, each figure is unique due to variations in materials, coloring, and details. During its most active years in the 1960s, the company employed over 150 people. Operations ceased in 1971, which means that all Fauni figures today are several decades old, enhancing both their collectible value and historical significance.
