A giltwood rococo mirror by J. Schürer (master in Stockholm 1769).
Gilded and bronzed. The broken pediment with engraved decoration of garlands and volutes against a pounced ground, moulded frame. Signed IS under the crown and indistinctly marked with the Stockholm town mark 177?. Two-part and mercury-gilded mirror glass. Height 63.5, width 27.5 cm.
Later bronzing and backing. Old but not original mirror glass.
