A CARPET, a semi-antique Tabriz, ca 375,5 x 277 cm (as well as 2 cm flat weave at each end).
A pinkish red ground with a small rosette medallion, large palmette and cloud band festoons in ivory, yellow and pink as well as a variety of blue, green and brown nuances. An ivory main border with a large stylized flower vine.
Partly worn, dirty, stains, the pinkish red colour is possibly slightly painted. The sides have fold wear and minor damages.
